New tutorial : Weather in the Mediterranean

The volume 2 from Introduction to Marine Weather has been published on the iBook Store (Apple Books)

The Mediterranean Sea has a unique configuration in the world. An enclosed maritime area of nearly two thousand nautical miles from west to east, it is only open to the Atlantic by a strait of eight nautical miles.
Completely surrounded by alternating high mountainous reliefs, of the high plateaus, vast plains and deserts, Its coasts have a succession of beaches, jagged rocks and steep capes. It is also dotted with islands of vast dimensions and mostly steep coasts.
In this context, Local aerological conditions have a major influence on meteorology as we studied it in my previous tutorial.

After the manual Introduction to Marine Weather – Volume 1 which deals with the fundamentals up to the interpretation of the GRIB files, here is an essential complement for boaters who wish to approach the Mediterranean and its riches with maximum safety.

– 82 pages
– 43 screenshots
– 14 videos

At the same time, the first volume was completely revised version 2.1.

  1. Bonjour,
Can your ebooks be read on an Android device??
I had acquired your ebook on
ISailor which was very helpful to me.
Unfortunately, this software has become relatively expensive (Paid subscription cards), I ditched it for a totally free software with scanned SHOM cards at a very reasonable price.
